NENAD VORIH PAINTINGS

Vorih Nenad is a special artist, very interesting in thematic choice, original in his expressions and very modern.

He was born on August 1st, 1963 in Zagreb. Already at the age of 13 he discovers his passion for painting and since then develops his natural talent. After graduating successfully from high school, he enters the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1983 - with painting as major. In 1987 he graduates his studies in painting in the class of professor Ferdinand Kulmer.

In 1988 he becomes a member of the Croatian Fine Arts Association and already in this year he gains the status of an independent artist at the Croatian Union of Independent Artists. In 1993 his art was entered in the Croatian Encyclopedia of Fine Arts.Since his first one man show until today, Vorih has continuously been painting and is very active at the scene of fine arts. So far he has displayed his works in more than sixty exhibitions in Croatia and Europe.

The inspiration for his art Vorih finds in the media, i.e. their interaction with modern society and their impact on the culture and the perception of modern man. He presents his work in four thematic cycles, but all the time staying faithful to his main passion: color, dynamics and expressiveness. The transcendental experiences of colors, sounds, space and time are unified and melt into complex, stratified impressions that these paintings give the eye of the viewer, coming from the dizzy perspective of this extraordinary artist.

Vorih Nenad je poseban umjetnik, tematski vrlo zanimljiv, originalan u izrazu i vrlo suvremen. Spada u elitu moderne umjetnosti.

Ro?en je 1. 8. 1963. godine u Zagrebu. Strast prema slikarstvu otkriva sa trinaest godina i od tada razvija svoj talent. Nakon uspje?no zavr?ene srednje ?kole, 1983. godine upisuje se na Akademiju likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu, slikarski smjer. 1987. godine zavr?ava studij slikarstva u klasi profesora Ferdinanda Kulmera.

1988. godine primljen je u Hrvatsko dru?tvo likovnih umjetnika te iste godine ostvaruje status Samostalnog umjetnika pri Hrvatskoj zajednici samostalnih umjetnika. 1993. godine uvr?ten je u Enciklopediju likovnih umjetnosti. Od svoje prve samostalne izlo?be do danas, Vorih se kontinuirano bavi slikarstvom i aktivno sudjeluje na likovnoj sceni. Do sada je izlagao na vi?e od ?ezdeset samostalnih izlo?bi u Hrvatskoj i Europi. Dobitnik je nagrada Grisia i Porin.
